The Nikiski Community Council is dedicated to maintaining the
community park and supporting the residents of Nikiski, Alaska.
The park provides ski and walking trails, a lake for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and a bicycle pump track for youth. The council sponsors a
youth ice fishing tournament each December.

Our Story
Nikiski Community Council was founded in 2010 by a group of community members who recognized a need for more support services in the area. Since then, we have grown to become a leading provider of community support services in the region.

Our theme this year is "Celebrating 100 years since the first homestead patent issued on paper" Celebration will be June 7th @ 11am-4pm. The Nikiski Community Council meets on the second Monday of each month at Nikiski Fire Station 1 (Salamatof). All Nikiski residents are invited to attend and participate.
