The Nikiski Community Council is dedicated to maintaining the
community park and supporting the residents of Nikiski, Alaska.
The park provides ski and walking trails, a lake for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and a bicycle pump track for youth. The council sponsors a
youth ice fishing tournament each December.
Nikiski Community Council was founded in 2010 by a group of community members who recognized a need for more support services in the area. Since then, we have grown to become a leading provider of community support services in the region.
Nikiski Community Council is teaming up with some great people to plan an exciting community celebration. Our theme this year is "Celebrating 100 years since the first homestead patent issued on paper" Celebration will be June 7th @ 11am-4pm. If you want to join the committee, sponsor, or enter the parade please call or text Toni Loop 907-740-1476.
The Nikiski Community Council meets on the second Monday of each month at Nikiski Fire Station 1 (Salamatof). All Nikiski residents are invited to attend and participate.
