The Nikiski Community Council is dedicated to maintaining the
community park and supporting the residents of Nikiski, Alaska.
The park provides ski and walking trails, a lake for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and a bicycle pump track for youth. The council sponsors a
youth ice fishing tournament each December.

The Nikiski Community Council meets on the second Monday of each month at Nikiski Fire Station 1 (Salamatof). All Nikiski residents are invited to attend and participate.
